Early Education
boNGO supports five Childcare Centers, where 429 children are cared for by 26 teachers (2025/26 school year). The monthly budget for each centre is roughly $1,150 £850. This includes food for children, teachers´ allowances, supervision & teacher training, learning & teaching materials, building maintenance and other expenses necessary for the running of the center. That’s roughly $13.3 or £10 per child per month.

Primary Education
One Happy Classroom costing $800 £590 makes a huge difference to 1,000 children over the next 10 years. This is an extremely cost effective programme working out at roughly $0.80 or £0.59 per child per year per classroom.

boNGO is a small NGO with a big impact. We don’t have expensive cars, drivers or large offices. Some of our management works on a voluntary basis. All donations will directly support our programs in Malawi.
